The February demo: historical status
The developer announced that the February demo would be removed on 6 July because it no longer represented the redesigned game.
Why older walkthroughs differ
The July New Direction post describes changes to tutorials, progression, building placement, art and voiceover. A demo walkthrough can therefore describe a different opening experience.
How to use old notes
Keep the demo build label and date. Treat its sequences, resources and unlock values as observations of that demo only. Do not use an old download button or forum title as proof that a public test is currently open.
